We have been working with Dr. Matt for several years now at Camp Canadensis. Dr. Matt has been a key component to our staff training each year. During our training, which begins before the arrival of our campers and then continues on during the summer, he provides great insight on how to best work with our campers and offers terrific tips on how to work through challenges they might encounter over the summer. Furthermore, Dr. Matt is a valuable resource to our counselors and staff as he offers them strategies on how to handle real scenarios that exist in the summer. His sessions during our staff training are informative, interactive and extremely enjoyable. His down to earth and realistic approach combined with his expertise has always been well received by our counselors. Our counselors are always thankful for his guidance and support. Many of them have commented over the years that his work with them have made them better at their jobs as counselors for our campers. Since we started with Dr. Matt, we have continued to find ways to increase his work with our staff. Each year, we look for new ways to come up with sessions that are relevant to the success of our campers and staff. We are fortunate to have him as part of our Camp Canadensis family and know that our campers and staff and the summers they experience at camp are better because of all he does for us. We look forward to developing this wonderful relationship for many years to come.

I cannot emphasize enough to you the amazing impact your workshop had on my camp staff. Your presentation on “Recognizing Hidden Signs of Peer Pressure” really shone a light on what we need to focus on, especially in a camp environment. My staff is now feeling confident that they can identify and address bullying-type behaviors before they take hold. The counselors are finding greater cohesiveness in their groups and a deeper closeness with their campers. It was rewarding to see and even more rewarding to experience. Thank you for sharing your expertise with us and bringing this “hot-topic” issue to our attention. We will look forward to working with you again.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Davis Owner/DirectorTwin Oaks Day Camp
A good presenter must possess three basic skills: sound knowledge of subject matter... the ability to communicate it... and a charismatic personality to connect to the audience. Dr. Matt Pulewitz isn't a good presenter; he's an excellent one, possessing all of these talents-- as evidenced by the enthusiastic response he receives whenever and wherever he speaks.

former High School Principal and Adjunct Professor at Hofstra University
