   10 for 2 Camp Training

Dr. Matt also engages with the staff on a whole to discuss the different ways of motivating behavior through the effective use of positive reinforcement. Behaviors, both good and bad are often reinforced throughout people’s day-to-day encounters. Dr. Matt believes a good understanding of these reinforcement patterns is crucial to create and maintain a fun and healthy camping experience for everyone involved!

At a pre-arranged time during the summer, while camp is in operation, Dr. Matt provides your staff with the opportunity to discuss specific challenges they are facing with their campers. This is a unique opportunity for the staff at your camp to meet and get highly personalized strategies from an expert in personality and how it effects interpersonal relationships. Before he meets with the staff, he embeds himself for a brief period with the group to see first hand what challenges the counselors face and how the campers might be reacting to their interactions. Then Dr. Matt meets with the individual group counselors and suggests effective changes to their behavior management skills.
